Presentation

The training centre for many top national and foreign sports teams and national teams, the Vitranc Sports Hall provides a venue for top-class training and sporting events. The hall has already hosted the European U20 Basketball Championships, the World and European Karate Championships and the European Table Tennis Championships. The sports hall, with its excellent parquet flooring and lighting, is designed for basketball, indoor football, handball, volleyball, badminton and table tennis. It can be divided into 2 sections with a partition wall. The stands can seat up to 600 spectators. There are changing rooms, toilets, a fitness centre and a restaurant.

The mountain sports centre is a venue for international alpine ski races in winter and a valley of outdoor activities all year round. Close to the famous record-breaking flying hill, the Planica Nordic Centre features a snow tunnel, altitude rooms and other facilities, also in the summer.
